Jalapeño Cheese Bites
Ingredients
- 2 (8 oz) blocks Pepper Jack cheese, shredded
- 4-6 Jalapeños, diced
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 Egg, large
- 1 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
- 1 tsp. Cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. Paprika
- 1 tsp. Garlic powder
- 1/2 cup Flour
- Oil for frying
Directions
In a medium bowl, combine shredded cheese and jalapeños.
Once combined, roll mixture into approximately 1 1/2" balls.
Place cheese balls on a cookie sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
While waiting, combine egg and milk in a small bowl and breads, cayenne pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in another. Stir to combine.
Once chilled, roll cheese balls in bowl of flour. Then, dip into milk mixture and lastly, coat cheese ball in bread crumb mixture.
Over medium high, fry cheese balls in batches for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towel.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauces. Enjoy!
