Accounting Clerk
Job Purpose:
The Accounting Clerk will be primarily responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of financial records. This role also involves effectively performing office clerical duties and establishing operational efficiencies.

Manage monthly and quarterly financial close deliverables, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations and data entry.

Create, maintain, update, and adhere to standardized operational procedures and internal controls.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiencies.

Identify potential areas for process improvement and track projects through completion.

Establish business relationships to maintain account compliance.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education/Qualifications:
-
1 to 2 years of previous experience in accounting
-
Accounting Degree a plus

Strong computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Must be skilled in spreadsheet development.

Experience in ERP modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cash.
