IT Assistant
Job Purpose:
Pay-Less Markets, Inc. is a dynamic and innovative organization committed to leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and productivity. We are looking for a dedicated IT Assistant to join our team and provide technical support to ensure smooth IT operations.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, or in person.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Assist with system updates, software installations, and security patches.
- Maintain and organize IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses.
- Support end-users with password resets, account management, and system access.
- Assist in maintaining IT documentation and user guides.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols.
- Collaborate with the IT team on projects and system improvements.
Education/Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and other common software.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience with IT ticketing systems is a plus.
