Price Integrity Schematics Merchandiser
Job Purpose:
The Price Integrity/Schematics Merchandiser will assist the PIS Supervisor in upholding price integrity, strategically mitigate INF’s, and identify schematics. They will work closely with POS, the Buying Department, Store Managers and Department Supervisors to increase sales and minimize shrinkage. Will be required to stock merchandise according to the schematic plan designed for the retail store location.

Store INF’s (Item Not Found)

Will work closely with POS to identify the product vendor, correct UPC, pack, size, and cost when stores submit INF’s.

INF's from stores will be documented and forwarded to the Price Integrity/Schematics Supervisor using hard copy documents.

Will be POC (point-of-contact) and take care of INF sheets that come from the store(s). The POS Manager and Operations Manager must be included in email or verbal communications regarding store INF’s. In the event the Price Integrity/Schematics Supervisor is unable to fact check INF’s due to leave or out of the office duties such as schematics, POS will manage the responsibilities.

All UNFI invoices can be printed out 3 weeks before it arrives. Foodlinxs invoices can be printed 1-2 weeks prior.

Invoices

Will review invoices to assess restricted or discontinued items. He/She will identify the replacement corporate code(s), if applicable and determine if an item is “flagged” (not authorized). Once identified as Restricted information will then be provided to the Operations Manager, which than be communicated to the Managers on the reasons of why products are being ordered.

All discontinued items, with no replacement will be communicated to all stores to mark tags with a “D” which will be addressed by PIS Supervisor (so item will not be ordered). As well as POS will identify on the shelf tag marked Discontinued.

Schematics

The Price Integrity/Schematics Merchandiser will develop schematics based on Movement Reports provided by POS, and store feedback from the department Supervisor, Store Manager, appropriate Category Buyer, and Operations Manager.

Merchandiser will follow Schematic Diagram that will be created for each store, which includes a department flow chart and detailed product placement. The products aisle number, shelf space, and facings per SKU must be identified in the planogram.

Schematics will be arranged based on department subcategories.

Once a set is completed the merchandiser will continue to monitor on a daily

Each store will receive their own binder of the schematics for their location. (Binders will be provided to the Buying and POS department)

Updates and deletions on file will be done by the schematic supervisor or assistant

All missed picked items will not go into GSS. Store(s) will price to move and items will not to be stocked on the shelf. The cost of product will be communicated by the Buying department.

Schematic per sub-category will be on block image.

Education/Qualifications:

1 to 2 years of previous experience

High school diploma required
