Embedded in Pay-Less’ mission statement is to “care for our community”. One way we accomplish this is through our charitable donations. Pay-Less corporate giving ranges from financial to in-kind product donations to help individuals, families, organizations, schools and many others in our local community.

Pay-Less Community Foundation Raises Funds for the American Canter Society Relay for Life Guam
Thanks to the incredible generosity and support from our Pay-Less staff, customers, and community, we successfully raised $11,023.79 for Relay For Life through fundraising activities and donation boxes across all our store locations. This collective effort highlights the power of unity and compassion in making a difference in the fight against cancer. Every contribution - big or small - brings us one step closer to supporting those impacted by cancer and advancing the mission of the American Cancer Society. Thank you to everyone who played a role in this achievement!

Pay-Less Sponsors V.A.R.O. during the Purple Gala event
On October 12, 2024, Pay-Less employees attended the Victims Advocate Reaching Out (VARO) Purple Gala to show their support for raising awareness about victims of abuse. Pay-Less Community Foundation Raises Funds for the Filipino Community of Guam
In August, $1,666.30 was collected from coin donation boxes at Pay-Less Supermarkets stores. The proceeds were donated to the Filipino Community of Guam for their efforts in supporting those affected by Typhoon Carina in the Philippines.
The donation was presented to the organizations on October 10, 2024.

Pay-Less Community Foundation Raises Funds for the Manenggon Memorial Foundation
In July, $1,155.97 was collected from coin donation boxes at Pay-Less Supermarkets stores. The proceeds were donated to the Manenggon Memorial Foundation for their initiatives to Honor the survivors of WW2.
The donation was presented to the organizations on October 10, 2024.

Micro-Mall Employees Host A Raffle In Efforts To Donate To The Ministry to the Homeless
On September 16, 2024, Micro-Mall Pay-Less held a special raffle drawing for a 55'' TV. By selling raffle tickets, we successfully raised enough funds to provide 70 food plates, which will be generously donated to the Ministry to the Homeless.
On September 26, 2024, Micro-Mall employees will join in helping to serve these meals to those in need, making a direct impact on our community.

Sumay Employees Serve the Homeless at the Ministry to the Homeless
On September 12, 2024, the Sumay Pay-Less team generously donated 80 meal plates, including spaghetti, garlic bread, dessert, and water, to the Archdiocese of Agaña Ministry to the Homeless, formerly known as Kamalin Karadat. Beyond the donation, the Sumay team also personally distributed the meals to those in need.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make this contribution possible. Your support strengthens our bond with the community and ensures that our homeless are cared for.

Ina Wellness Festival 2024
On Saturday, June 22, 2024, Pay-Less Markets sponsored and participated in the Ina Wellness Festival 2024. Our Health Smart & Online Shopping Team attended the event to promote our nutrition services and host our first ever Pay-Less Pop-up Shop where customers can purchase items using the online shopping platform.
PDC Wholesale also supplied the Festival attendees with coconut water, nutrition bars, and fresh fruit as part of our sponsorship. Kudos to our team of impassioned employees for their commitment to a healthy community.

In March, $1,780.03 was collected from coin donation boxes at Pay-Less Supermarkets stores. The proceeds were donated to the Guam Catholic Pro Life Committee initiatives.
In April, $1,119.47 was collected from coin donation boxes at Pay-Less Supermarkets stores. The proceeds were donated to ACT (Autism Community Together) in honor of April - Autism Awareness Month.

Sumay Waves for Autism Awareness
On April 26th, 2024, Sumay Pay-Less team proudly participated in a community wave event in honor of Autism Awareness Month. The team gathered to raise awareness and show support for individuals and families affected by autism.
The wave, held outside the old Sumay Pup and Grill, drew attention from passersby and community members, creating a strong visual statement of solidarity. Employees wore blue, the official color of Autism Awareness, and held signs and banners with messages of support and inclusion.
The wave was a success, reminding everyone of the importance of acceptance, understanding, and kindness. Sumay Pay-Less is proud to be a part of such a meaningful cause, and we thank all who joined us in making a difference.

Pay-Less Community Foundation Raises Funds for Santa Barbara Catholic Church Food Party Initiative
The Pay-Less Community Foundation is thrilled to share some great news—thanks to the generous donations from our customers through our coin boxes at Pay-Less stores, we have successfully raised $2,812.87! These donations were collected from February 1st - 29th and benefited the Santa Barbara Catholic Church Food Pantry initiative. The proceeds were presented on April 11, 2024 at our corporate office.

Bagging for awareness of down syndrome
On October 14, 2023, Pay-Less Markets in collaboration with the Down Syndrome Association of Guam hosted a Bagging for awareness of Down Syndrome at the Micronesia Mall Pay-Less. Children with Down Syndrome with their families and friends were given the opportunity to be exposed to the work environment. The event was a success and the participants had a great time. Covid-19 Food Drive
Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic on the island, the foundation saw a rising need for food in the community.
Pay-Less Supermarkets hosted the “COVID-19 Food Drive” at all store locations from April 24, 2020 through June 30, 2020. Food donation boxes were provided at the front of the stores where customers were able to donate canned foods and/or non-perishable items. The first round of food donations was delivered on Tuesday, May 12th and the second round on Thursday, May 28th.

Guam Medical Association
Pay-Less Markets, a division of PMC Investments Inc., donates $12,000 to Guam Medical Association for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplies, which will be used by frontline healthcare workers to protect them from COVID-19. With the shortage of PPE on Guam, Pay-Less recognized the need and donated to help fill the supply gap. The company is committed to supporting the local community by providing customers with essential items in a clean and safe environment, as well as donating to organizations that are responding to this pandemic.
Part of the GMA donation was used to purchase reusable PPEs and hand sanitizers for GMH.
